Two ALSs signed “John S. Sargent,” both written on both sides of 4.5 x 3.5 stationery cards from his 31 Tite Street studio, no date. Two handwritten letters to painter Gerald Kelly. One, in part: "Our friend…wrote of your return to London. If you have nothing better to do would you give me the pleasure of coming to lunch here on Saturday the 22nd at 1 o'clock." The other, in part: "I have written all…and so far have had yes from: Princesse Edmond de Polignac…W. G. Rathbone…and Lady Lewis." In very fine condition. Accompanied by one of the original mailing envelopes, addressed in Sargent's hand.
