Three items: a TLS as vice president, signed “George Bush,” April 21, 1985, Vice President letterhead, in part: “I was a torpedo bomber pilot in VT 51 aboard the USS Jacinto (CVL 30). I have not kept up my flying as a pilot”; a TLS as vice president, signed “George,” April 27, 1987, Vice President letterhead, in part: “Thank you very much for sending me that great print of the CVL USS Cabot,” with adding his initials to a handwritten postscript: “Reminds me, of course, of the San Jac—GB”; and a glossy 7 x 5 photo of Bush giving a thumb’s up from a cockpit, signed in black felt tip, “George Bush,” with another hand adding an inscription. In overall fine condition, with light haloing to the ink in the 1987 letter.
