Two Apollo 11 items from the personal collection of Jim McDivitt, commander of the Apollo 9 mission: an attractive 2.5″ medallion issued to commemorate Apollo 11 with the raised likenesses of the crew on one side, and the Lunar Module 'Eagle' depicted on the reverse; and a .75″ diameter tie tack bearing an image of the Apollo 11 insignia, issued to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the first lunar landing. In fine condition. Both items originate from the personal collection of James McDivitt, and each is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Novaspace.
