Display containing small flown fragments from six historic ‘First in Flight’ moments, which includes .5″ x .25″ swatches from the following aircraft and spacecraft: the Wright Brothers 1911 Model B Flyer, the Curtiss NC-4 ‘Flying Boat,’ the Douglas World Cruiser ‘Chicago,’ the HK-1 ‘Spruce Goose,’ the Apollo 11 Command Module ‘Columbia,’ and the Space Shuttle ‘Enterprise.’ The artifacts are housed in a screw-down acrylic presentation case measuring 5.75″ x 3.5″ x 1.25″.
