Signed and inscribed on the first free end page in blue felt tip, “For Joe with every best wish, Snoopy and Charles M. Schulz,” adding a wonderful sketch of Snoopy wearing aviator goggles. The recipient was the son of Schulz’s collaborator and sometime co-author, educator Kathryn (“Kay”) Lumley. Includes a separate “Happy Holidays” card from Charles and Bonnie Schulz, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “Kay, [heart], Sparky.” Autographic condition: fine. Book condition: VG/VG+, with some minor staining to boards.
