Cecil Stoughton's own original vintage color glossy 5 x 5 photo of President John F. Kennedy, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, and six of the Mercury Seven astronauts with their wives in the Yellow Oval Room of the White House in May 1963, taken by official White House photographer Cecil W. Stoughton. Astronauts seen in the image are Gordon Cooper, Wally Schirra, Alan Shepard, Scott Carpenter, Gus Grissom, and Deke Slayton. Reverse bears "A Kodak Paper" watermarks and pencil notations, "C170-2-63." In fine condition. Encapsulated by PSA as a 'Type I' photograph from the collection of Cecil W. Stoughton.
