ADS in pencil, signed “Str,” one page, 4.25 x 6, no date but likely circa 1920. Handwritten score of a game of Skat kept by Richard Strauss, tallying totals for four players, including "Str" and "S." In fine condition, with a small edge split to the horizontal fold. Skat was Strauss's favorite card game, and he once was late for a conducting engagement because he refused to interrupt a match. Provenance: Charles Hamilton Galleries, April 1985.
