Letter to an admirer, in full: “Bless you for your inquiry re: my mugging—all is well—I only lost a patch of hair which I could ill afford. The girls will go on to bigger and more crippling ventures I suppose. I’m leaving for London on Tues. for a party at Mme. Tussaud’s to launch the British edition of My Crowd. They’re giving it considerable publicity. Will call on return.” In overall fine condition.
