Two items: a vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Simpson in uniform, neatly signed in fountain pen, With kindest regards, W. H. Simpson, Lieutenant General, U.S. Army"; and a TLS, one page, Headquarters Second Army letterhead, June 17, 1946, in part: "It is an honor to join such a fine collection of our great leaders as you have." In very fine condition.
