(Ub Iwerks Studio, 1932) Original layout drawing by Ub Iwerks featuring Flip the Frog from Spooks, showing the frog seated at a table with a human skeleton and looking down at the skeleton of a dog. Accomplished in graphite on untrimmed 12 x 9.5 animation paper. Total image measures 12 x 9, filling almost the entire page. In fine condition. Iwerks was a pioneering animator and early partner of Walt Disney, with whom he co-created Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Mickey Mouse.
