Rare original sketches by Stuart Sutcliffe, unsigned, accomplished in graphite, ink, and watercolor on both sides of an off-white 7 x 9 sheet of artist paper removed from the sketchbook he submitted for admission to the Royal College of Art in 1957. One sketch shows two faces in profile, and the reverse contains a bold sketch of what appears to be a figure from the waist up. In fine condition, with adhesive remnants to edges. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, numbered "82" and titled "Student #2," which states that this "drawing was originally purchased from the estate of Mrs. Millie Sutcliffe, Stuart F. Sutcliffe's mother."
