Two items: a TLS as vice president, signed "Calvin Coolidge," one page, 7 x 9, The Vice President's Chambers letterhead, December 4, 1923, sending thanks for some apples; and a hand-addressed and free franked envelope by Grace Coolidge, 5.5 x 3.5, addressed to "Lt. Robert F. Harding, 40 Beach Street, Marblehead, Massachusetts," and franked in the upper right, "Grace Coolidge," with a postmark of September 12, 1934. In very good to fine condition, with the typed text of the letter extremely faded, but the crisp signature remains bold. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope for the letter, which bears a pre-printed free frank.
