Original vintage circa 1969 glossy 10.25 x 7.5 press photo of astronaut Neil Armstrong during his pre-flight suit prior to landing on the moon with the Apollo 11 mission. The inherent caption notes that this style of 'bubble-top' helmet is worn during blast-off and reentry. Reverse bears an Associated Press credit stamp, and is stamp-dated July 15, 1969. In very good to fine condition, with some creasing, heaviest to the upper right corner. Encapsulated by PSA as an authentic 'Type III' photograph.
