Four of Napoleon's hairs removed from a cover inscribed by author and atlas-maker Emmanuel, comte de Las Cases, who accompanied Napoleon in Saint Helena Island during his exile. Affixed to a certificate prepared by noted autograph dealer Charles Hamilton that reproduces an image of the cover, certified by Hamilton below: "I certify that the hairs above are authentic original hairs from Napoleon I & were removed by me from the cover inscribed by Las Cases. Charles Hamilton." In fine condition.
