Two checks signed by the Beat icons: a personal check filled out and signed by Kerouac, "John L. Kerouac," payable to Nunzie's Wines & Liquors for $7.90, October 28, 1963; and a rare personal check filled out and signed by Burroughs, "William S. Burroughs," payable to Tree House Animal Foundation for $50, October 4, 1992. In overall fine condition. Burroughs is very rare in checks—this is the only one we have ever seen.
