Scarce circa 1987 color 24 x 35.5 ‘Computer Capers’ poster distributed to Apple Computer resellers and dealers that had repair facilities. This colorful ‘comic strip-style’ poster was intended to be displayed in ‘clean rooms’ with the aim of guiding technicians to keep their rooms and products safe and clean during repairs. The poster shows a series of humorous, albeit dangerous, scenarios if the proper safety practices are not followed, with the upper border showing a detective with outstretched finger and speech bubble: “Okay, gang! Something’s out there to get your computers! Can you solve this caper?” Rolled and in very good to fine condition, with central horizontal creases, some wear to corners, and dampstaining to the bottom portion. This poster derives from the personal collection of a former employee of Apple Computer, Inc.
