Truman, including: a luncheon menu from Truman's trip on the Rio Grande Special Train from Denver, Colorado, to Ogden, Utah, on September 20-21, 1948; a dinner menu from Truman's trip on the Frisco Meteor train on September 29, 1948; a seven-page press release of Truman's address of October 27, 1952, responding to a speech by Eisenhower about the decision to withdraw American forces from Korea; six double-sided pages of the president's "Rear Platform Remarks" made while traveling through Ohio, Indiana, and Minnesota from October 27-28, 1952; a three-page press release of Truman's speech in Gary, Indiana, on October 27, 1952; a four-page press release of Truman's speech in St. Paul on October 28, 1952; a five-page press release of Truman's campaign speech in Cincinnati on October 31, 1952; a detailed 16-page itinerary and personnel summary for his trip through the midwest from October 10-15, 1952; a five-page typed itinerary and personnel summary for his trip through the northeast from October 15-19, 1952; a five-page typed itinerary and personnel summary for his trip through the midwest from October 26-November 5, 1952; two Hotel Biltmore labels; and a March 1949 issue of Trains, detailing President Truman's 'whistle-stop' campaign train. In overall very good to fine condition, with some pages loose from the stapled press releases.
