Portraying the 1955 New York Yankees team, this Bronx Bombers lineup was one of the greatest in history. Among those pictured are Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Yogi Berra, Billy Martin, Phil Rizzuto, Casey Stengel, Bill Dickey, and Don Larsen (spelled "Larson" on the card), who would throw a perfect game in the '56 World Series. Like all team cards in the issue, the back offers a brief team history—making note of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Joe DiMaggio—team records, and the dimensions of their famous ballpark, Yankee Stadium. A tough find in MINT condition, only one has been graded higher by PSA.
