Two prints of Eisenhower's paintings of his esteemed predecessors, both bearing pre-printed facsimile signatures, distributed as Christmas gifts to White House staff:
Limited edition 1953 Hallmark presidential White House staff gift Christmas print, 12.5 x 16.5, featuring a color 9.25 x 12 reproduction of Eisenhower's painting of Abraham Lincoln, with President Eisenhower's pre-printed signature in the lower border. Framed and in fine condition. President Eisenhower used a photograph of Lincoln done by Alexander Gardner in 1863, and a total of 516 of these 1953 Eisenhower gift prints were presented as gifts directly to White House staff members at the annual 1953 Christmas party.
Limited edition 1954 Hallmark presidential White House staff gift Christmas print, 12.5 x 16.5, featuring a color 8.25 x 10.5 reproduction of Eisenhower's painting of George Washington, with Eisenhower's pre-printed signature in the lower border. Framed and in fine condition. President Eisenhower used a Gilbert Stuart painting of Washington as the basis for his reproduction, and a total of 1300 of these 1954 Eisenhower gift prints were presented as gifts to White House staffers.
