Group of three TLSs from Herbert Hoover to journalist Edward Anthony, each one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, dated to 1944, 1946, and 1951, with content samples as follows: January 5, 1944: "These times yield little satisfaction except from abiding friendships"; January 11, 1946: "Many thanks indeed for your holiday greetings and for sending me that subscription to your magazine"; and December 19, 1951: "The European situation is in such a delicate balance that nobody can write an article that will be good six weeks hence."
