Two items, including a document signed by Granger and his personal autograph album:
DS signed "Farley Earle Granger," two pages plus ten pages with addenda, 8.5 x 13, February 15, 1943, sent to Samuel Goldwyn. In part: "Concurrently with the execution hereof dated February 15, 1943, under the terms of which I have been employed to render my services in the photoplay now entitled 'The North Star,' upon the terms and conditions contained and set forth in said contract." The attached contract is also signed at the conclusion, with several modifications initialed throughout. Also includes contemporary copies of the revised documents.
Farley Granger's personally-owned leatherbound autograph album, 7.25 x 5.25, gilt-stamped on the front cover, "Farley Granger." The first page is dedicated, "Farley, Fill it fast, Best wishes, Uncle Jack." Notable signers include: Jane Withers, Esther Dale, Walter Huston, Dana Andrews, Ruth Nelson, Walter Brennan, Margaret Bourke-White, Anne Baxter, and Lewis Milestone. Many of the older actors offer warm expressions of the young Granger's talent and offer good wishes for his career. In overall very good to fine condition.
