Rare official Presidential Visit medal issued to the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) during the 2004 FIFA Centennial Celebration. 141 gm, 70 mm. The front depicts the “FIFA 100 Years” logo; and the reverse is engraved, “Presidential Visit, [facsimile signature of Sepp Blatter],” and encircled with raised text: “Federation Internationale de Football Association.” Includes the original black presentation case, with inside of cover featuring the Centennial logo. In very good to fine condition, with some emulsion loss to medal, and notable wear to exterior of presentation case. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Marcos Moura Teixeira, a former technical coordinator for the Brazilian National Soccer Team, who affirms that the medal derives from his personal collection.
