Lot 1 consists of the entire Paloger Collection of John F. Kennedy Memorabilia and Photography. The Paloger JFK Memorabilia + Photograph Collection is the finest, most comprehensive, and historically significant JFK Collection ever assembled by a private collector. The two major components of the collection (memorabilia and photographs including original negatives) individually would stand alone as the finest ever assembled and this combination separates this collection from any other JFK collection in the world today or previously assembled.
The Paloger Collection will be the first major JFK collection to be offered intact, which was Ronnie Paloger's intention when he started assembling this collection as a 'tribute' to the life and times of JFK. It is his belief that a JFK collection of this magnitude should be permanently housed, maintained, and exhibited for current American and foreign visitors, academics, researchers, authors, and historians and future generations. With this in mind, the whole collection will be offered as Lot 1, at an opening bid of $1.5 million. Should Lot 1 not receive an opening bid, the auction of Lots 2-72 will proceed per our usual auction process.
Therefore, the rules are as follows:
Lot 1:
Lot 1 is a single lot consisting of the entire Paloger Collection of John F. Kennedy Memorabilia and Photography (comprised of Lots 2-72)
Bidding is now closed
Lots 2-72:
Lots 2-72 consist of the individual lots contained within Lot 1
Bidding begins on 1/17/20 on individual Lots 2-72 at www.RRAuction.com
Auction Night: January 23, 2020
Auction for Lot 1 will close at 5 PM EST on 1/23/20
If Lot 1 is sold, all individual lots will be awarded to the winning bidder
If Lot 1 is not sold, per RR Auction’s usual auction process, the 30-minute rule will go into effect at 7 PM EST and each lot (2-72) will close individually
