Early and stunning original vintage glossy 7 x 9 silver gelatin photo of Marilyn Monroe posing in a bra top and high-waisted shorts on a tennis court, with affixed caption on the reverse dated July 7, 1948, reading: "The model is actress Marilyn Monroe; the outfit, a white delustered satin design by Rose Marie Reid; the game, tennis—that's what the net suggests." Also bears a Wide World Photo credit stamp on the reverse, as well as a "Return to Plain Dealer Rotogravure Dept." stamp.
