Ribbon and badge from turn-of-the-century Democratic Party conventions: a red 5″ long ribbon with sewn-on printed badge, reading: "Democratic Party in Kings County, Delegation to State Convention, Syracuse, Sept. 24, 1895"; and a 5″ long silver-tone "Alternate" badge featuring an eagle suspended from a patriotic ribbon from the 1908 Democratic National Convention in Denver, at which William J. Bryan was nominated as the party's candidate for president. In very good to fine condition, with some fraying to edges of the red ribbon.
