Scarce flown embroidered ‘AB Emblem’ Apollo 16 mission insignia patch carried to the moon on Apollo 16, measuring 4″ in diameter, encapsulated in a tamper-proof sleeve and affixed to a certificate of authenticity signed by Susy Young, the wife of the late Command Module Pilot John Young, in part: "I hereby certify that the Apollo 16 ‘AB Emblem’ Embroidered Mission patch that accompanies this letter was flown to the Moon aboard the Apollo 16 mission April 16-27, 1972. This patch was a part of John W. Young’s personal collection since the mission." These handsome patches were worn on post-flight jumpsuits and flown as souvenirs. In fine condition.
