Hurley, measuring between 3/4″ and 5″, including three "Support Roosevelt, Hurley for Governor" textual pins, two "Hurley for Governor" pins (one with central portrait), a "Re-Elect Chas. F. Hurley for Governor" pin, an "Elect Hurley Councillor" pin, and a larger laminated cardboard badge, "For Governor, Charles F. Hurley, 'On His Record,'" produced by the Universal Badge Co. of Boston. In overall fine condition. After having served as Treasurer and Receiver-General of Massachusetts from 1931 to 1937, Hurley became governor of Massachusetts from 1937 to 1939.
