Official RIAA flower hologram-style platinum sales award presented "to Larry Magid to commemorate the sale of more than 1,000,000 copies of the Geffen Records album and cassette 'Permanent Vacation.'" Framed with its disc, cassette, plate, and small album cover image to an overall size of 16.25 x 20.25. In fine condition, with a small crack to glass in lower right corner. From the collection of Larry Magid, promoter and co-owner of Philly-based Electric Factory Concerts, responsible for breaking many of the most significant artists of the era. Magid helped launch the careers of many of the greatest stars of the past half-century—his contribution was acknowledged with this award.
