Description

Collection of 11 pin-back ribbons and two key-chains commemorating the second inauguration of Lyndon B. Johnson as President of the United States on January 20, 1965. Each ribbon approximately measures 2 x 5.5, with upper badges identifying the role of the ribbon bearer, including: Inaugural Ball Floor Committee, Communications (2), Symphony, Parade Tickets, Transportation, Congressional Hostess, Hostess Governors Reception, Program, Usher, and Grandstand Supervisor; reverse of each ribbon bears a Bastian Bros. of Rochester, New York stamp, with three pinned to their original backings. Also included are a pair of key-chains with octagonal charms, one made of sterling silver and the other of 10K gold, with the front of both bearing embossed profiles of Johnson and Hubert Humphrey, and the reverse sides showing the seals of the President and Vice President with raised text to top and bottom. In overall fine condition.
