Two packets for the inauguration of President John F. Kennedy from the collection of Congressman Ralph Harding, one for the "President's Platform" marked "Ralph R. Harding," and one for "Section D" marked for his wife, "Willa C. Harding." The congressman's envelope contains an admission pass for the "President's Platform," certifying the bearer as a member of the House of Representatives; a seating diagram for the president's platform; an official engraved invitation to the ceremonies; an official "Inauguration Ceremonies" program; and portraits of President John F. Kennedy and Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson bearing facsimile signatures. His wife's envelope has identical contents, except her green admission pass grants access only to "Section D" on the "Inaugural Platform, East Front of Capitol." In overall fine condition.
