Cased set of three official pins issued for the Helsinki 1940 Summer Olympics, which were canceled due to the outbreak of World War II, each measuring 13 mm x 23 mm, featuring a design with the Olympic rings at the top, large Olympic flame at center, and year at the bottom. The gold, silver, and bronze pins are displayed against a blue felt backing, inside a case topped by a transparent lid with silver lettering, "XII Olympia, Helsinki 1940." Reverse of the case bears an affixed label in Finnish.
