James MacArthur's screen-worn coat from his role as David Balfour in the 1960 Disney film Kidnapped, a screen adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic 1886 novel. The simple black coat features six wooden buttons on the front for closure and is lined in light brown satin, with a Western Costume Co. tag sewn in the collar, filled out in type: "No. 2056-3, Name: James MacArthur, Chest: 38." In very good to fine condition, with the thread of the bottom button quite loose, and some splitting and fraying to interior seams.
