(Celebrity Productions, 1934) Original color 14 x 11 lobby card for the Comicolor cartoon The Brave Tin Soldier by Ub Iwerks, which was adapted from Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale 'The Steadfast Tin Soldier.' The lobby card features a wonderful full-color portrayal of a scene from the film showing the soldiers marching. Includes a worn paper folder from the Continental Lithograph Corp. In fine condition, with uniform toning. Iwerks was the original designer of Mickey Mouse, and the Comi-Color process was an early two-color film process/system that pre-dated Technicolor's three color system—two important pieces of early animation history.
