Above is a plaque portraying an Oscar-like figure holding a film reel, with text reading: "Exhibitor Laurel Awards, 1955-56, Voted by the film buyers of the motion picture industry. This Official Certification carries with it the appreciation of the Theatre Industry for a job well done—Jay Emanuel, Publisher." In very good to fine condition, with light scratching to the wood and the plaque. In 1955-56, Lancaster starred in four films—The Kentuckian, The Rose Tattoo, Trapeze, and The Rainmaker—earning the most acclaim for his stunt-filled role as Mike Ribble in Trapeze.
