Don DeFore's screen-worn coat from his role as 1st Lt. 'Dink' Watson in the 1946 RKO comedy Without Reservations, which starred John Wayne and Claudette Colbert. The khaki military-style coat features two large golden Air Force buttons on the front (with a third replaced by a traditional brown button), four flap-style front pockets secured by matching Air Force buttons, and pairs of black-and-blue ribbons around each cuff. The interior is lined in tan satin, and a Western Costume Co. tag is sewn inside the right breast pocket, stamped as "No. 31109," and filled out in ink: "Name: D. DeFore, Waist: 34, Inseam: 32." In fine condition, with pinholes to the lapels and shoulders.
