Original 8.5 x 5.75 dual-sided handbill for a one-week concert series performed by "Duke Ellington and His Famous Band and Revue" at Harlem's Apollo Theatre beginning on February 20, 1953, which shows images of Ellington and supporting musicians Pearl Bailey, Bill Bailey, and Louis Belson. The left side of the handbill promotes a "Musical Comedy Revue, Harlem Nocturne" starring Timmie Rogers and Big Maybelle that starts on March 6th, with the reverse also advertising performances by Wynonie Harris, Larry Darnell, and Red Saunders beginning on February 27th.
