Group of nine Prince tour passes from between 1982 and 1993, including:
A scarce, early backstage sticker pass from Prince's 1982 Controversy Tour, 4.5 x 5.75, for a show at the Santa Monica Civic Center on February 12, 1982. Affixed to a slightly larger sheet. In fine condition, with light soiling. Prince played an 11-song set before a sold-out crowd of 3,500 on this date during his third concert tour. This early pass is likely to be one of very few remaining examples.
A group of three passes for Prince's 1990 Nude Tour: a laminated off-white "VIP" backstage pass, 2.5 x 3.75, which depicts Prince wearing red leather and holding a blue guitar, featuring the original red cord lanyard; and two unused 3.25 x 4.75 "Working Crew" backstage sticker passes, both issued for a "Stagehand," one with orange text and the other with purple text and stamp-dated July 9, 1990, which corresponds to a show at the Alsterdorfer Sporthalle in Hamburg, Germany. In overall fine condition, with expected wear from use.
A group of five “Working Personnel” passes for a Prince and the New Power Generation concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on July 31, 1993, as part of the Act II European Tour, which includes: a pair of 3 x 4.25 laminated passes, issued as passes “23” and “194”; an unused blue 3.25 x 3.25 sticker pass; and a pair of laminated passes, 3 x 4.25 and 2.5 x 3.75, bearing affixed sticker passes, with the blue pass marked “Crew Boss,” and the purple pass marked “Hand.” In overall fine condition, with light wear from use.
