Original yellow 4.75 x 3 ticket to the US Senate impeachment of President Andrew Johnson on April 1, 1868, complete with its detached stub, marked "To be taken up at Main Entrance, No. 719." In fine condition, with small spots of paper loss to reverse. The impeachment proceedings lasted from March 13-May 26th, and President Johnson was ultimately acquitted by a single vote.
