Boston-based bookseller (d. 1809) who participated in the Boston Tea Party in 1773. Revolutionary War-dated ADS, signed “James Foster Condy,” one page, 7.25 x 3.25, June 24, 1776. A handwritten receipt for a transaction between James Winthrop and James Foster Condy, for "1 Large folio book, royal paper, for keeping Records." Signed within the body and at the conclusion by Condy. In fine condition, with a couple of light stains.
