Original vintage color glossy 5 x 5 photo of the President John F. Kennedy feeding his dog, Clipper, on the West Wing colonnade of the White House in October 1963, taken by official White House photographer Cecil W. Stoughton. Nanny to the Kennedy children, Maude Shaw, is seen in the background. Reverse bears "A Kodak Paper" watermarks and a pencil notation, "C363-4-63." In very fine condition. This photograph derives from Stoughton's personal collection, and was retained by him as his own file copy. Provenance: The Estate of Cecil W. Stoughton, Bonhams.
