Popular American pulp fiction writer (1898-1988) who collaborated with H. P. Lovecraft in the 1930s and had a literary resurgence in the 1970s. Galley proof for The Devil Wives of Li Fong by E. Hoffman Price, published in 1979 by Del Rey Books/Ballantine. The long galley proof pages measure approximately 6.5 x 25, and are folded in thirds. The final book as published had 224 pages, per an included Ballantine blurb sheet. Housed in a handsome hand-painted clamshell box. In fine condition.
