Collection of ten original photocopied daily memo sheets from the Purple Rain and Lovesexy tours, consisting of five from each tour. The five from Purple Rain all date to December 1984, and include stops in Cleveland, Chicago, Buffalo, and Prince’s hometown holiday shows in Minneapolis/St. Paul. The Lovesexy memos are from July-August, 1988, and include stops in Paris, London, Oslo, Hamburg, and Milan. In overall fine condition, with handwritten notations and folds to a few pages. From the collection of Prince’s assistant tour manager Gwen Leeds and accompanied by a letter of provenance. These daily memos were distributed nightly under each band and crew member’s hotel room door. The information includes rooming lists, venue and concert specifics, and travel plans. Note that Prince, Sheila E., and some of the other band members are registered in the hotels under pseudonyms.
