Complete issue of the Gazette of the United States from November 23, 1791, published by John Fenno, Philadelphia, four pages, 10.25 x 16.5, including the first printing of the "Ordinance and Bye-Laws for the Regulation of the Bank of the United States." In fine condition, with a bit of light staining. Proposed by Alexander Hamilton, the legislation establishing the First Bank of the United States had been passed earlier in the year.
