Joey Ramone’s personally-owned and -displayed article from the May 2000 issue of Smart Money Magazine, two pages (pp. 87 and 88), 8.5 x 10.5. A part of Michael Kaplan’s “Me & My Money” series, the article is entitled “Off the Charts,” with subhead, “These days Joey Ramone finds the stock market more thrilling than the mosh pits.” Both pages show images of Ramone, including one with Merrill Lynch broker Marty Lutschaunig, and feature a highlighted quote on the second page: “‘It’s my new religion,’ says Joey Ramone of watching the stock market. It’s almost like music-making—a passion.’” The pages are expertly lacquered onto a 22.75 x 15.25 wooden display with an affixed engraved nameplate. In fine condition.
