Prince of Wales and first British monarch of the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Edward’s reign, from 1901 to 1910, was named the Edwardian era (1841–1910). Dashing 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet photo of King Edward VII by W. & D. Downey of London, signed on the mount in black ink, “Albert Edward, 1899.” Encapsulated in a plastic PSA/DNA authentication holder. In fine condition, with light staining to the edges.
