Archive of material associated with Arthur and Marian Logan, consisting of two items signed by Coretta Scott King, unsigned telegrams from various people including the King couple, and some other ephemera, including: a matte-finish 10 x 8 photo of Marian and Coretta Scott King together, signed and inscribed in black ballpoint, “To my dear friend Marian, with deep appreciation and warm personal regards—Coretta”; a TLS to Arthur Logan, signed “Coretta & the Children,” one page, personal letterhead, June 17, 1971, thanking him for his friendship as Father’s Day approaches, as “my children and I are painfully aware of the absence of our beloved father and devoted husband”; two unsigned telegrams from “Coretta and Martin” and “Coretta and Martin King,” one dated 1966, in part: “Thinking of your abiding support in the struggle for freedom and human dignity”; two telegrams from the King family regarding their sorrow following King’s assassination; four telegrams from J. E. Lowery concerning fundraising and events; a carbon copy typescript of Marian’s remarks before the directors of the SCLC in 1966; an official invitation to a 1966 conference at the White House; and a Christmas card bearing a facsimile signature of Coretta.
