Extensive and familiar letters to Grete Cirio, a close friend at Rome, on her everyday life and well-being. Letters include mentions of conductor Wilhelm Furtwangler, Carlos Kleiber, Rudolf Serkin, Oskar Kokoschka, and the death of Gustav Mahler. In overall fine condition.
