South High School of Grand Rapids Michigan 1931 The Pioneer Annual yearbook, 8 x 10.75, 172 pages, featuring Ford’s unsigned senior yearbook picture on page 24, listing his activities: National Honor Society, student council, inter-hi council, sodalitas latina, glee club, varsity club, football captain, second team football, first team basketball, track, and photo committee. Ford is pictured or listed eight more times in the yearbook as well. On page 41 the Senior Committee credits Ford with “Photo”; on page 86 as an all-state and all-city center of the football team; on page 89 as a member of the basketball team; on pages 92 and 93 as a member of the track and weight teams; on page 116 as a member of the student council; on page 118 as a member of the varsity club; and on page 123 as a member of the Latin club. The half-title page features several alumni signatures presumably signed at a class reunion in 1959. In fine condition, with some surface marks to covers and traces of label remnants to spine.
