Original commemorative glass jar with silver cover from the ‘Jim Thorpe’ 1912 Summer Olympics held in Stockholm, Sweden, over 100 years ago. Attractive glass jar measures 4″ in diameter with a beautifully etched design around the side. Cover bears a raised medallion in the center featuring a Grecian male surrounded by laurel leaves, with “Olympiska Spelen Stockholm 1912,” along the bottom. In fine condition.
