Lovely collection of three items, each signed by a notable female singer, including: Lillie Langtry (signature), Nellie Melba (SP), and Jenny Lind (signature). In overall very good to fine condition. Individual descriptions are as follows:
Lillie Langtry: Ink signature, “Lillie Langtry,” on an off-white 2.75 x 1.75 slip. Double-matted with a magazine photo to an overall size of 8.25 x 13. In fine condition.
Nellie Melba: Vintage matte-finish 10.5 x 13.25 full-length photo of Melba in a lovely costume, signed in black ink, “Nellie Melba, 1901.” In very good condition, with various tape-repaired tears, significant paper loss to lower right and bottom edge (most of which could be matted out), and overall very brittle.
Jenny Lind: Ink signature, “In kind remembrance of Jenny Goldschmidt now Lind, Liverpool, June 1852,” on an off-white 6.75 x 4.25 album page affixed to a slightly larger scrapbook page. In very good condition, with intersecting folds (two vertical folds passing through letters of the signature), paper loss to lower edge (slightly affecting the date), tape along top edge over a portion of the sentiment, and remnants of an affixed image to the lower right.
